summer is calling

It's been another big week for myself and boost.fm, starting up with my weekly show on wednesday nights - disko elektrik, thenonto Aussie Fridays, with a whole host of australian dj's playing live back-to-back sets from all across the nation.

I'm seeing a lot of quality progressive tracks come out lately, most notably from Gareth Emery, Monogato, Mobilize, Jerome Isma-Ae and Chris Lake....I've had a load of fun with these tracks lately, getting a lot of play on my show, as well as on TATW.

Another gorgeous day inSydney today, you can tell summer is on its way, and I for one am HELLA EXCITED! as such, I've put together a mix that I hope you enjoy, called Summer Starts NOW, with a whole load of new tracks from Probspot, Sezer Uyzal, Stonebridge, Chris Lake and many more.

As I type this, I'm recovering from a somewhat massive night out last night at the Bank Hotel, it's always fun when the bartender remembers the drinks you ordered last time ;)

what a weekend!

Time for another update! had a big weekend, kicking off with a 2 hour set I played for boost fm that went from 9-11am, wanted to play when the rest of the world is either getting their friday night started or waking up to a great Saturday morning!

Found a new track of the week, Lee Kalt and Mark Alston Feat. Missus M - Kiss and Fly...absolutely epic tune, the vocals are extraordinary, I can see this going off in the clubs. Lately i've been thinking about getting a Boost.fm event going here in Sydney, and I had a chat with some other DJ's, everyone seems keen to jump in and get involved, that's what I love about the Boost community, so enthusiastic and open minded, brilliant stuff!

Here's a link to the mix: frictionPoint presents Disco Elektrik it was one of my first times on the mic so don't mind me lol

Cheers, keep spinnin'

So, it's been a while...work, gym, working on the car, just got back from the snow with friends it was an AWESOME time :) Been getting back into Gears of War 2 lately, playing online with friends really adds a new dimension to the game and strategy goes out the window as things heat up.

Was surfin' youtube the other day and came across a funky-ass mix of Do You Want It right Now by Degrees of Motion, remixed by Mischa Daniels, getting a load of airplay by a couple of dj's I follow, and I can't stop playing it either!

Also this week's biggest track has to be Probspot - Staker with Fine Taste on the remix and let me tell you, it's one hella FINE TASTE mix!!!

Well, an update wouldn't be complete without a mix so here's a new mix i recorded on the fly for my weekly show every night @ 7pm AEST on www.boost.fm

I started off with some tracks by Kaskade, Funkagenda and Proff, then taking it up a notch with tracks by Signalrunners, Nitrous Oxide, Duderstadt and Abbot & Chambers
